Kuantan: The Hunt for Food.

I was 9 when my family left Pahang for good to reside in KL due to Abah's work. The only thing that I could think of at that time was how was my duck drawing gonna be. I just had an art test a few days before our moving day and i thought i had done a very good job on the drawing that it kept me thinking; Is the teacher gonna be giving me an A for that? Is my drawing gonna be pasted on our class' board? I didn't manage to get the answers anyways.

We moved out of Pahang in 2004. It marked as my very first major moving - one, because it involved interstate, two, because we had to do huge and thorough packing on our stuff and three, because that is the only moving out memory that i could remember. I mean we did moved to a new house in KL but i could barely remember the process because it was just selang dua taman. The first one was rented. The current one is our permanent house.

The last time i went to Pahang was probably 3 years ago, when my family and i were on our way back to KL from Terengganu. We decided to drop by Kuantan to reminisce some long kept memories. And my latest visit to Kuantan was last week. Just a week ago.

Kuantan hasn't changed that much to be honest. But the vibe that it gave me is still welcoming. It always feels like home when i'm in Kuantan. Probably my second home after all.

Definitely had to give TC a visit whenever i'm in Kuantan.

and this old road next to Sungai Kuantan.

We had this marvelous ikan patin tempoyak at Jaman Tory Resepi for lunch and scrumptious Mee Kari at Teluk Cempedak for breakfast but i forgot to take a picture of it since i was starving at that time.

and these lovely matcha and chocolate burnt cheesecake by the beach to complete the day.

Just wanna tell how much have i missed Kuantan and its people and the food and whatever that is related to Kuantan. Boleh tak nak migrate dekat sana je?
