#projekramadhanaman: Three ways to fail a caramel pudding.

Not sure how this could be told but i’ve been so rajin on baking cakes and cookies and also preparing puddings. Last week, i managed to bake burnt cheese cake and bread pudding. Both were finished within two days. Yada yada talk about following internet recipes.

Yesterday, i made an attempt of preparing caramel pudding from a recipe that i got from twitter. There are a few things that you need to know about the recipe; First, it did not state which steamer it is using and two it did not give me an accurate method but i’m pretty sure that that is not the recipe’s fault at all 😌

To be completely honest, it was very easy. It didn’t need that much of ingredients to be prepared. Methods were super easy...but remember, everything has to be very accurate. There were three methods/ingredients that have been identified as the ways to fail this product (In my own version).

First and foremost, over-beaten eggs. My parents bought our family a brand new mixer since our old one has broken. I've been so occupied in using the machine that i've decided to use it to prepare pudding too when it fact, we do not even need a mixer for pudding preparation! So there it goes, my pudding became too fragile.

Secondly, i did not caramelised the sugar properly. When making a pudding sauce/caramel, you have to make sure that the sugar turns brown before adding the water. Then only it will produce the sweet and bitter taste.

Third and the last one, there has to be at least seven eggs to be used in making a caramel pudding. Then only you could produce a nicely solid yet tasty caramel pudding to be served for your moreh.

There are still a lot of works for the improvements but i'm gonna proceed with other kuihs first than only proceed for the next caramel pudding. Anyways, stay tuned guys for #projekramadhanaman. Thankies :)
