Seoulland Day 8: Last Day in Seoul and Tips on Budget

The night before i left Korea, AirAsia sent me a text that goes,

"Dear Our Valued Customer, your flight D 5708 has been rescheduled from 9.45 am to 12.45 pm." :')

The biggest problem with the text was, one, it made me want to change my flight ticket to night instead as they allowed us to change without any charges. Two, i tried. But i failed. The only reason was due to early check in that i've made before i came to Korea. So yeah, i had to stick with the same scheduled time.

And the third problem was i was actually not confident to trust AirAsia about the rescheduled time. There was a time when i was in Sarawak, even though the flight is delayed for one hour but they still departed earlier. So i went early to the airport the next morning.

This is the last picture of Seoul that i took before going to the airport.

In the end, my flight remained at 12.45 pm. And yeah, it was a total of 3 boring hours waiting for my flight. I managed to spend some time purchasing Banana Milk to bring home. Some more time to pick up Shrimp Burger for my lunch and another Onigiri because i was extremely hungry from waiting.

So yeah, eight days is not enough for me. I would've traded my working time to buy some times to Korea again. Who knows, maybe soon?

Cost

When i went to Korea last time, i spent almost about 4k. It could have been much lesser than that but i didn't have it well planned so it was all not well sorted.

Return tickets with luggage (KUL - ICN) = RM 1,977.55 (Non-promo)
Accommodation - Kimchee Sinchon Guest House = RM 630 / 2
T-Money = 4,000 won
Transportation = 50,000 won
Simcard = RM 140 / 3

Food:
Busan Jib - Myeongdong = 45,000 / 3 = 15,000 won
Yang Good Lamb BBQ - Gangnam = 48,000 / 3 = 16,000 won
Crazy Tteok - Hongdae = 22,000 / 3 = 7,400 won
BOA Travel House - Hongdae = 8,000 won per person
Makan Halal Restaurant - Itaewon = 10,000 won per person
Mart - Breakfast & Light Dinner = Less than 20,000 won (Look for promo)
Street food = 20,000 won

Everland = RM 128 (Depends on promo)
Nami Island = 10,000 won
Gyeongbokgung Palace = 3,000 won (If you're wearing Hanbok - Free of charge)

Hanbok = 24,000 won / 4 hours (Could be cheaper - you have to be very good in searching for the best price)

Others = Shopping (On your own)

Total Expenditure - Wajib = RM3,108.65 (Not yet included with my souvenirs shopping and cafe hunting - but it wasn't that much)

Basically our expenditures were more towards food. And yes, we absolutely couldn't resist good foods in Korea. So if i were to be asked would i want to go to Seoul, Korea again? Well, definitely yes peeps!
