I have a thing about sports whether it is indoor or outdoor. I love hiking. Very much. That I wish I could climb any mountains or hills everyday. They give me satisfaction to be exact. The worth paying scenery at the summit, the unspeakable moment with God to be grateful and the time to reflect yourself. My family is the kind of family who does outdoor activities.
Abah and Fahmi are the kind of hardcore hikers. They hike once every two weeks. Sometimes at random hills but the most frequent one is the hill nearby our housing area. If you had ever come across Bukit Besi, that is the hill that our family usually climb.
Other than that, I enjoy swimming and playing badminton most of the time. Well, to be honest, swimming is my all alone time. I started to swim when I was 7. I was still at Kuantan, Pahang and the nursery where I was in prepared transport for those who wanted to join. Hence, that's how I started. But I haven't learned the freestyle stroke yet because my family moved from Pahang to KL.
My best performance is breast stroke and yes, it is very very very tiring and yet, it's the best I could do. I envy those who could do freestyle stroke. My siblings for example. In my family, only Abah, Abangah, Fahmi and I know how to swim. Aina knows basic but she's still afraid to swim in the deep pool. Izzati hasn't get the chance to learn.
I started to play badminton when I was 9. I was already in KL. My previous neighbours taught me how to play. To me, they were really really powerful at that time. And I started to know a bit on how to play it when I entered standard 6. My skill started to develop by then but still, not like a pro. I played for fun. Everytime I played badminton was for fun until I entered UiTM.
I got to know people. I started to learn the skills to play badminton, like a real game. I was playing it wrongly. Dang it! I thought I was good though I just played for fun. In badminton, whenever we played duo, I was the pain in the neck. The one who made my team lose. Sobs! I wish to learn and play it well. I hope!
These are things that make me survive my Chemistry days. The way to put up everything is by finding something that you really enjoy to do. Hahahaha! I just read 88 Love Life by Diana Rikasari and I am motivated! May we all survive our university years. Ameen.
