Mid-exam crisis.

Being three months away from home if your family visits you every fortnight is nothing. However, if you are being three months away from home without any family members visiting you, well that is something to have sadden yourself.

Just now, Aina gave me a phone call. Well, it's not a normal thing for her to do because she had just gave me a phone call last night. Being an almost ten years old girl, she surely had learned a lot from her brothers and sisters. Aina doesn't memorize my phone number but she jotted it down on her notebook. And what pleased me the most was the tone of voice that she used to welcome my answering. It was like, me answering a home phone call "Hello, Assalamualaikum." And then suddenly this little voice cheered you up with a very happy kind of tone "Kakak!!!" Well, I know you missed me Aina. That was very overwhelming. I almost cried.

I'm caught in the middle of exam crisis; to be missing home after almost three months of not coming back and to be studying physics, chemistry and calculus for the last three final exam papers that I have to face. I guess this is how I supposed to learn on how Ummi and Abah had been facing during their college years. Sobs. Your eldest manja daughter is crying inside knowing that Marjana is going back home this Sunday. She started her final later than me ;'(

May Allah bless your clingy daughter. Ameen
