Assalamualaikum
When I was first exposed to a degree life, I've never had a dream of entering any sports activities again. I had had enough with hockey but I would never say no to swimming and badminton because both are my real passion.
So BCHEM (our faculty organisation) organised a two days of family sports day for yesterday and today. The majlis tertinggi had planned about this since our first AGM (Annual Grand Meeting). Hence, we had started training one month before the game (Well, I started a bit late. 1 week and 1 day before the sports day was held.). And surprisingly, I really really really love being in the team that I've been given.
Reasons:
1. I finally got to know my real position/kelebihan in netball (Never played as a school representative before.)
2. This was the first time I ever got to be in the winning team.
3. I feel soooo belonged to the team. By saying belong, I really mean by belong because sometimes when you are in a team, you could hardly speak to other members because you feel like you are really really in awkward situation to talk to them and tell them how hungry you are or how sleepy you are.
4. We do not make the senior-junior kind of relationship as a barrier.
5. When we were in training, we got to know each other, almost everyone is calling me Mizz Nina (due to my name) and that's the purpose of this program, which is to get to know each other better, to erase the line between us.
We had two days of non stop sports day. The first day was for the ball games eg; futsal for boys, netball for boys and girls, volleyball for mixed. The second day was for sukaneka and tarik tali.
We had nyanyian Negaraku and Ibu Pertiwi followed by zumba and some warming up in the morning.
And then the game started. From my observation I believe Dot should be given the award of the most spirited person for cheering up.
Our netballers for girls part. Yes, me in the position of Wing Attack (I am no good at guarding people. Boo me)
Us, 3 of AS2021A (In the middle: Shida, Syahmee and I) plus Gerald and Claudia.
So we made up to be the winner for netball for boys and girls, volleyball and took over the sukaneka games for the next day. No, we were not being kiasu but we were just so lucky and maybe the effort that we had put in by going to training (In shaa Allah Allah bless our effort) and Alhamdulillah it was a success.
Alhamdulillah I am so grateful for the team that Allah had put me in, for sending me the best people to cope up with and to share the joy of victory with. Alhamdulillah, I couldn't be more happier than this. Thank you Allah
