Finallyyyyyy it took me awhile to actually continue with this write up. After months of being back in Malaysia, here you go...Part 2.
Almost three hours were spent only to take photos in the university. The architectural is superb and magnificent that any pairs of eyes who witness would’ve been starstrucked. I wish i could’ve furthered my study over there but then... Nina is never good at drawing things. Hence, let's just forget about it.
Me and my travelling mates in front of the university's library.
Don't be blinded by this image. Behind those walls are library, mini mart (Where we bought our breakfast), students' lounge and even gymnasium. But of course, you will need to have a student card to get an access to go into those places. Mini mart is the only exception.
After that, off we went to Gyeongbokgung palace. We had tteok-bokki, hotteok and gyeran-bbang for lunch (Shared among the three of us) on our way to the subway station from Ewha University. We were supposed to head to Namsan Tower before going to Gyeongbokgung palace but it was already late and Namsan Tower closes at 5 pm everyday.
Welcome to Gyeongbokgung Palace!
Spent almost three hours walking around the palace because it was gigantic that we almost couldn't feel our legs whenever we made a pitstop.
After that we went out to find the nearest mosque to pray. It wasn't a mosque to be exact. We went into a prayer room that is located in Korea Tourist Information (KTI) building. The path was quite complicated where it took us almost an hour to reach the place since we walked and took photos and walk and took photos and repeat. By the time we reached our destination, we were already very, very exhausted.
Didn't manage to take the photos inside the building but it was so good! Almost every facilities were there except that there was no bed prepared.
After that we moved out and head to Dongdaemun. Again, for photosss.
Caught this dancing light performance when were on our way back to Hongdae. It was superb. A few background instrumentals were played to match with the light.
Night in Dongdaemun with thousands of bright flowers. T'was a really huge field. Kagum jap.
After that, we went back to our hostel. Decided to use Hongdae route to get back to our hostel. Hongdae is again, alive after 10 and before 12. We wanted to have our dinner at Crazy Tteok at first but the restaurant closes at 10 pm. Hence, we went back to our hostel with a hungry tummy. It wasn't long until we found a 24 Hours Mart along the road, so we decided to stop for a Kimbap and Banana Milk instead for our very late dinner. It could've even be called as supper.
Our trip for the day ended at 12 pm. Laid on the bed with very tired legs and a record of almost 40,000 steps for the day. It was indeed a very long day for us.
