Bako: Mission of finding wild boars.

Before I went to Sarawak to further my study in Chemistry, I always had a thought that Sarawak's got nothing except that it is big, it has a few cat statues and it has variety of foods. And wait. Not until I went there and learn its people and culture and believe me, Sarawak has many sight-seeing places to go too!

I couldn't believe myself that sometimes I even gave a thought of marrying a Sarawakian (Really?). But who knows?

A few weeks before the last Ramadhan, my seniors, a few friends of mine and I went for a trip to Bako. In case you haven't known about this, Bako National Park is one of the best attractions in Sarawak. Believe me, it is! The scenery was magnificent! It was indescribable.

I can still remember the sea breeze even though the sun was scorching hot but you don't even feel like going down the peak because it was way toooo good to be up there enjoying the scenery than playing with the water. And of course, there are many rare creatures that you could meet there i.e. wild boar, skink and baboon. Before we went there, I was really excited about meeting live wild boars because people were saying that they even wonder around the customer lounge. It took us until the lunch time before we could really meet the real wild boars.

Moving to Bako from the jetty using a boat. The boats will only start operating from 8.00 a.m. and end at 4.00 p.m.

The route to Teluk Pandan Kecil and Teluk Pandan Besar.

The peak of Teluk Pandan Kecil.

And wild boars of course!

It was a very memorable trip and I wish I could go there again. Kak Mas has been there twice. I won't mind to go for the second or third time cause it was too good.

Till then, XOXO
