Hi peeps! So there are a few more weeks left before the next batch is going to enter KMS. Hence, I realized I should make an entry on 'How does KMS look like' for them (Yes, you 96ers!) because I know some of them might be searching about KMS with the keyword 'Kolej Matrikulasi Selangor' on the internet. Why? Because I did the same too!!!
So I'm gonna tell you how grateful I am for have been given the chance to study there and bring your imaginary mind to KMS now!!!
This is the view from the dataran of KMS. I'm not so sure what it is called as. The small building that you can see in front is the guard house where you are going to scan your card before and after balik bermalam or outing. ATM is placed at the right side of the guard house. There's another ATM machine next to Koperasi.
Our beloved surau/mosque (cause the outsiders also come in to perform Jumaat prayer) As-Sufi. Apparently, As-Saff (an organisation for Muslims in KMS) is the mpst influential organisation there followed by JPP (kot? I'm not so sure about this one but about the As-Saff is true.)
Excuse the model ;) So this is how the first floor of KMS library look like. Not the whole place. But believe me, it is the best place to study and the best place to distract yourself from studying (you got wifi there!) And to all my dear juniors, if you have any time during the MPPB week, please spend some of your times to borrow books from the library before you received yours. It will help (like really a lot!) during your first few weeks at KMS.
This is from the outside of the laboratory. The orange building at the right side ia Vega's hostel and the cream colour building at the left side is where the tutorial rooms are. (Not in the photo: At the right side is where Lyra cafe is)
Our Antares Hall where you'll be most at during the MPPB week. My advice is bring along a kipas with you cause you'll be totally exhausted in the Antares.
Our Astaka, volleyball court, padang bola sepak as you can see in the picture. There are also tennis court, basketball court, padang for hockey and rugby players.
The view of our laboratory. And I loveeeeee Bio lab!!!!
The half view of the inside of Antares. This photo was taken during the preparation of Princess Polaris Night.
So my dear future juniors, do not feel ashamed if you have to enter matric life because believe me, matric will give you what you need. And I believe matric is the best place to upgrade your result and to shape you to become a person, develop your soft skills, making friends etc etc. I've been there and done that and I know I won't regret for have chosen matriculation.
Because I believe Allah wanted to show me something that was hidden in KMS. Therefore, he sent me there. That's all from me! I hope it is enough for a personal review from me. I hope it'll help. May the odds be ever in your flavour. So toodles everyone!
Assalamualaikum
